Parks Reopening 9/30?

Roped dropped mgm. It’s dead. After we ck off our must do boxes, planniNg on hitting MK

Only ride down is ROTR for normal stuff
@ 10:30 am. Just missed it lol. Some things never change
Snap. We made it through ROTR before it went down and have also done Runaway Railway and TSMM. Now in what seems a fairly long queue for Tower or Terror though - perhaps due to ROTR being down?

Now that park hours are posted, has anyone (resort guests or not) been able to get a park reservation for any park tomorrow? We’re not seeing any availability at any park. What’s the point of opening the parks if park reservations aren’t also added? Surely, they are not just relying on all the people who had reservations prior to the storm (many of whom canceled or left).

Well lots of people already had reservations for this day. I assume they are opening only for those people and not allowing new reservations.

See the safari is down at Ak? Any word on opening tomorrow?

Pirates was down all day today, not sure on status tomorrow. Everything else was a go

Disney actually handled yesterday pretty well. We didn’t have park reservations for Friday because we didn’t expect our visit to last through Friday (our original departure was Thursday night). Yes, they froze park reservations for all guests after announcing Friday’s park hours on Thursday night. However, we got up and departed our DVC room early on Friday and headed over to MK on a hunch someone in Guest Services would be able to help us. On arrival to MK, the Guest Services line was packed … stretching all the way to the start of the pathway back to the Contemporary Resort. However, there was a small army of Guest Services reps going through the line. Anyone who was coming from a Disney Hotel was issued park reservations on the spot (using a mobile iPad to get the process done in a matter of seconds). We were only in the line for about 5 minutes before one of these roving reps was able to help out our family. One minute later, we were in the park. MK staffing was fine (although many rides did not open until near lunchtime). The weather was spectacular, the crowds were very manageable, and everyone (staff and guests) appeared to be in particularly festive moods. It was a terrific way to end a very unusual Disney visit.
