whew - AWESOME DAY!!!

That is great news...at least for me, since we arrive on Sunday.

Sounds like you had a terrific day at both parks. And a dinner show as well. Thanks for sharing.

Once the kids start going back to school Disney doesn't fill. I'm glad you are having a good trip. Less people makes me happy. :thumbsup2 Have fun.

We were at MK yesterday and remarked on the same thing. There was only a 15 minute wait for Dumbo and a 25 minute wait to see Ariel, which we did for the first time. We practically walked on to our other rides.

Wow - what a great day! How are you liking AsSp? What section are you in?

Thanks!

We did August the same time last year expecting masses from the DDP, which was really just away to attract people in an otherwise unbusy time. We got on lots in the morning and evening and relaxed at the pool during the afternoon. Enjoy your trip!

that is so great! i'm glad to hear that you are enjoying your vacation. if you have time again, i would love to hear your daily updates! it's helping me pass the time until i leave in 10 days!!! you've also made me feel better about the crowds. prior posts really scared me about the crowds due to free dining. since i'm a floridian, all kids here are back to school so i thought surely by aug. 28th everyone must be back to school. then i saw that many kids in other states don't go back until after labor day and that the crowds will be awful when we are there. thanks for giving me some peace of mind

We just got back late last night and we thought the crowds were the same as the second week of Dec. It's quite funny though- during lunch and dinner times the crowds are so low on the attractions.

It was quite crowded for certain times and we did have to fastpass. EE had an 80 minute wait 15 min after the park opened, same for Soarin'.

I didn't see any susbstatial lines in CS eateries- not that I really paid attention. However, the crowds waiting for their ressies at sit-down restaurants were long- more than the second week of December and even to the level of Christmas week.

All in all, august is not a bad month at all. The weather was manageable, people were pleasant for the most part- some became cranky due to the humidity. Pool was packed at AKL- but manageable.

LOL! We always end up eating a counter service lunch around 11:30 when we're at the parks without an ADR! So I know you're "for real!" and smart, too.

Thrilled to hear about the crowds. We will be arriving next Wednesday, and hope for the same.

Wow - I can't believe how much you got done in one day - with 2 small kids in tow, I doubt we'll be able to do that much!! Sounds like your having a great time!
