Checking in-I'm done except for one group. I'll finish up when I get back from the beach and mail on the 11th.

I'm seeing that some ladies need a bit more time and some are traveling etc. for spring break... PLUS I want to be considerate of dacky our angel in the swap who took several groups at the last minute. With all this in mind I've decided to push the due date out 2 weeks. The new due date is April 30th.

Please continue to let me know how you are doing with this swap even though there aren't any more scheduled check-ins. Let me know when you mail too so I can be on the look out.

I have 3 of the angel groups complete. Here's a flash-filled picture....to give you an idea of what I've come up with.

Note: the M for group 2B is not attached to the background at all...in case it's too big for your taste!
Also, the A for 15B is flocked....the O may get flocked as well haha


Traci, I should be ok to do 12a! It'll give me a reason to scrap a page for it...SE is one of DH's favorite things in DW

ETA: Kaa is not attached to the O. You don't normally see him in AK but I thought he fit the theme...especially since Baloo and King Louise do a M&G

I'm on Group 11B Epcot and I'm a bit stuck....Crappy thing I've only been to Epcot once...My fav part of Epcot is World Shocase and THE LAND so I will be doing a mini Earth and put my letter on top.
I was gonna do corn but that seemed boring.

We are done with the swap! We plan to tag this week and send soon. With the new due date I will be out of town when you return these but my mom will be home so I will send and address label with her address. We were supposed to go to Japan but due to the tsunami we had to cancel. We are now going to Disneyland and back-2-back Disney cruises to CA/Canada and Alaska.

Ok, for spaceship earth.....I wanted to do things from the inside of the ride.

You know how you go through the one tunnel and it's all black with green numbers flying through it all?

This is my take on it:

is this a totally terrible idea? I still have to trim the Hs...they look jagged right now but they'll be smooth....and I want to go through my greens and find a good one to mat the letter itself with.

Any objections to this? I kind of think it looks cool but it may be waaaaay out there. lol

I am really not that familiar with the ride. I can't remember that part--I'm sure others will chime in and give an opinion. I think if you're inspired then go with it! I think it sounds cool. Sorry I can't be of more help. It's been about 3 yrs. since I've rode SE. I just can't remember it so well.

What about putting different mini flags on your letter? Or you could could do something like the hydroponic (sp?) farming...maybe the mickey shaped pumpkin or upside down hanging plants.
