Granny,

I believe that picture was taken from the Skyway - which used to be one of our favorites.:(

:sunny: Good Morning All :sunny:

I have brought some morning beverages for all who visit the CC this cold January morning.

Granny..... Lisa's answer sounds very good but since she has that covered..... I'll say it is taken from the view point of a Flying Elephant...Dumbo?

I think I'll have a HM wake up...since it's a bit warmer than the usual Tri mountian ;)

:smooth:

Good morning, breakfast is served.

granny: I will second wdw4us2 with the Skyway but to not completely jump on the bandwagon, I will guess that it was on it's way to Tomorowland?

Do you have any aerial shots of the 20k leagues lagoon, one of the WDWWDS favorites?

editing: Latest guesses on Jungle Cruise loading dock Tour Company: No good on Range Rover, Mini Cooper, Bentley, Aston Martin or MG.

Good morning all and happy weekending!

Cashing in my red Mickey Mouse car AAQ card..........

What item used extensively throughout WDW, but NOT at the Animal Kingdom EVER, was patented on January 3, 1888?

The thing that seems most likely is a drinking straw. I see that Marvin C. Stone patented the first wax drinking straw on that date. And of course we don't want the Animal Kingdom residents to get their mouths around a plastic drinking straw.

Ok, I don't visit for a day & 1/2 and I have to wade through a pile of pages!!

Higgs: Yesterday, I thought of another combo of Kodak, Nathan Lane, and Chip N Dale tying in the location better, but since you gave me an AAQ, I'll just quit while I'm ahead! You're right, Working for Peanuts was before the Magic Journeys, not LOTLK, sorry about my goof there. Like those association questions-keep 'em comin'!

I will second Ocean's answer on the plastic drinking straw.

I will third the Skyway answer to Granny's pictoral question (Fantastic picture BTW Granny!)

AAQ cards to Ocean and Mikelly! I got the idea for the question after reading the latest issue of Disney Adventures. The straw thing is on the calendar for January.

Yes, I know it's a kids' magazine, but I refuse to go old.

_______________ <----------------- What is this??

Why, it's the aerial view of the AAQ card I'm giving to Lisa for knowing that the picture was from the old Skyway ride. Additional aerial view AAQ cards to jwill and Mikelly!! :)

And since no one else has said it....jwill, for the umpteenth time on one of your questions, I'll say

uncle

:bounce: Happy Hour :bounce:

Oh... long day... I think I'll have an Irish Cream and kick back here in my CCAC :p..... I'm willing to share....

Any active questions? (other than jwill's... I'm still contemplating that one :p)

I'll throw one out there...

What is unusual about the building material used to create the centerpiece of the World Showcase, The American Adventure?

:smooth:

MBabe....looks like a lovely night for Illuminations...let's move the CC over to WS, okay?

And the unusual thing about the building material at American Adventure? I'll guess that it's all imported! :p

Good evening all! :D

Mickeybabe, an Irish Coffee is just what the dr. ordered, esp. on a chilly night like this. Please..one for me?

As to the question of the American Adventure, I like Granny's answer-how ironic would that be!

Here's an easy one for you guys...

Name all the monorail colors!

First off I just want to say that I just found you guys today and y'all look like such a fun group! I hope I can keep up with you.

Now I guess I'll jump in and try to answer the latest question. At first I thought "how easy" but now I"m not so sure. I think the colors are black, red, gold, lime green, green, and blue.

Hi Brer Karen!

Black
Red
Gold
Green (only one green)
Blue

That's a great start. I know of at least 7 more. Keep Going! :D

PS: I just noticed...I'M A DIS VETERAN!!! YAY!! :bounce: :Pinkbounc :sunny: :teeth:

Well, since that AAQ card is burning a hole in my pocket . . .

A rather sizeable object was moved from a now-extinct Magic Kingdom location to a WDW resort. Name the object, the now-extinct location, and the resort to which it moved.

Okay, I thought about this a little more and I came up with Silver, Pink, Orange, Purple, and Yellow. Then by doing a little research I found that there is a coral one. But I still think there is a regular green and a lime green.

Congrats on being a DIS Veteran. Does anyone know, did something happen to the DIS awhile back to cause people to lose posts? I had made DIS Veteran about a year ago and today I noticed that it was back to saying I was a Welcomed Guest (which I rectified) and that I only had 30 some posts. What's up with that?

How about blue, red, black, gold, silver, pink, coral, orange, green, lime, purple, and yellow?

The green I'm thinking of is just regular green, like the color of a green crayola marker. The lime green...well it's lime ;)

Very good Brer Karen & Ocean, I'm going to give you both AAQ (Ask a Question cards), but I think I need some clarification. You both got blue, red, purple, pink, orange, yellow, black, gold, silver, and coral. The monorail ya'll are calling lime is the one I'm calling green. So, I'll call it lime too. Can ya'll describe the monorail ya'll are calling green-as to the shade of green? Are you thinking a deep forest green? This sounds so nitpicky I can't believe I'm even typing it, but I'm just curious. Plus, there is a method to my madness, so I'll just wait on your answer!

:p

Bonus: What is unique about the Coral monorail

Ocean: Did they take a sub from 20,000 Leagues and drop it into Typhoon Lagoon for the shark reef? I know TL isn't a resort, but it's the only thing I can think of!

Ok, thanks for the clarification. I will submit that there is no green monorail and there is one more that ya'll have to name and it is unique also, similar to the uniqueness of the coral one (see bonus question).

So...name the missing monorail and tell me about it and coral's uniqueness!

Well, I'm stumped. I can't quite see the monorails in my head, so I don't think I can take this one any further.

No, a 20,000 Leagues sub is not what I'm thinking of. I don't know if we'll ever see those subs again. :(
