One example of the "dream city" concept envisioned for EPCOT is the handling of traffic. No vehicles will be permitted at ground level. Two underground levels are planned, one for trucks and one for passenger cars. Parking for residents will also be below ground.
To transport people above ground, a system of elevated trains, called "people movers" would be employed, along with the overhead monorail system...
