Mikelly1221: ... the monorail. ... subjective, depending on which line you were riding and where you went. We also came up with Space Mountain, but we weren't sure, couldn't remember and was too late at night!

You were definitely on the right "track" with the Monorail answer. That's one of the other 2 I had in mind. I woudn't have thought of it as a ride except that a CM mentioned it as an answer to a trivia question recently [the fastest ride at WDW].

So, your AAQ carries a little more weight now.

The Space Mountain vehicle is exited the same side as entering. But depending on which line you use, you might exit/enter on the right side of the vehicle [if using the right line] ... or the left side [if using the left line]. But you don't enter on one side and exit on the other. At least not without a *major* track jumping midstream!!

Only one other now. And now that you got monorail, it won't be tough to get ... especially since I put "sides" in quotes [see above]. So, I don't think this last answer is worth an AAQ all by itself. I'm sure Mikelly1221 can get it just to strengthen that AAQ even further!

[I don't know *how* I tried to turn the AAQ's into AAK's! Maybe it was that mental stretching I had to do to figure out ITTBAB. AAK!!]

jwill... River Country opened June of 1976 :)

Come on Mikelly, Higgs.... I'll let you sit on the side where the wagon is :p... BTMRR here we come.... any other takers?

:smooth:

polk... The Backlot Tour?

Hey... does an AAK work kinda like an AAQ card? :p

:smooth:

MickeyBabe: The Backlot Tour?

I think you enter *and* exit on the right side of the tram [after that huge side door lifts]. All you do on the left side is get soaked!

I'll take a guess on the last "side" answer....

Is it Peter Pan's Flight?

(Sliding up to the bar) Good morning everybody. One Decaf grande for me, please.

River Country opened in 1976.

As far as the seal goes, I know I went off-topic, although I guess I can tie it back to the original WDW-related question to avoid a ride on the black monorail. A shacky would not be fair, of course, but if you guys want to keep guessing, let me know.

I think someone asked if it was on a memorial. I believe the answer is that it could be considered a memorial. Does that help ring a bell?

MickeyBabe: Hey... does an AAK work kinda like an AAQ card?
That's for a really firmly asked Kwestion!!!

Higgs22: Is it Peter Pan's Flight?
No, enter [after catching yourself from falling] and exit [just before picking yourself up off the moving sidewalk] on the right side of the flying boat.

The last one I have in mind really takes a little "outside" the box thinking. Mikelly1221's monorail answer was not only a correct one. It was also on the right track for the final answer.

Polk its not the crazy busses(sp?)
its not the horses in frontierland
hmmmmmmmmmm
the boat going to the magic kingdom!
that must be it

MickeyBabe: WDWRR?
No, always on and off on the right side. The left side has that bar to keep you from coming/going.

Carpe'Disney: Polk its not the crazy busses(sp?) ... its not the horses in frontierland ... hmmmmmmmmmm ... the boat going to the magic kingdom! that must be it
Eureka! That's it!! The ferry across the lagoon. Board it on one end and exit on the other. [That's why I put "sides" in quotes.] Of course, both ends are used for boarding/disembarking. It depends on which way you're going. But after you board you'll disembark on the opposite end.

I had said the final answer wouldn't be worth an AAQ by itself. But I think an AAQ *is* in order ... after all the pain and suffering I caused with the question. So, unless anyone objects [since I'm not intimately acquainted with the rules of the house], that's one AAQ to Carpe'Disney.

Gee, too bad I have to go to work. This is too much fun!

polk.... The rafts to Tom Sawyers Island?

MickeyBabe: TTA or Tomorrowland Speedway? The rafts to Tom Sawyers Island?
TTA is enter/exit on right side of the People Mover. Speedway ... I'm not sure. My daughter won't ride since she started driving real cars! But I'm pretty sure you get out on the side you entered. [Driver for sure.]

Rafts? Not sure. Haven't ridden in a while. Don't they pull into both docks using the same orientation? So, you'd use the same side of the raft to enter/exit?

Anyway, the ferry was the last answer I was looking for. It'd be interesting to know of any others, though.

Hmmmm….it looks like polk may be a formidible newbie…a pretty good question right off the bat…could a Shacky be far behind?

well…looks like we may need a new question…here’s two (they were on sale this week)
Which WDW attraction required a fresh coat of paint every night?

and the second one…
While Walt Disney did not seeWDW under construction…he was involved in the initial designing of the resort…according to Walt, in order to keep delivery trucks from spoiling the show, where did he want the truck route placed?
Have fun….

Bicentenial AAQ cards to Higgs22, Carpedisney, Mikeybabe and Gometros. River Country opened in 1976

Morning all. Babe pass me a caffeinated beverage please...thank you so much.:D

Polk-I think the speedway is one where you enter from one side and exit on the other. Isnt the 'enter' side from the middle islands and the 'exit' side on either side of the tracks? I could be wrong, my memory of that is very fuzzy.

Anyone know which questions are active? I've been asleep under my poncho in the dark 'corner' of the CC the last couple of days.

The Frontierland Shootin' Arcade, until they stopped using pellets.

Rjay - I was just on the Speedway - you enter and exit from the same side - from the middle island.

Higgs - just guessing, but did he want it along the perimeter?

MBabe still has her question out there about the Medicine show - and I still don't have an answer to that.

-Kim

AAQ to ckj...the Shootin' Arcade was painted every night until they stopped using the lead pellets…..

Still one more question out there
While Walt Disney did not see WDW under construction…he was involved in the initial designing of the resort…according to Walt, in order to keep delivery trucks from spoiling the show, where did he want the truck route placed?

good luck…

Kim...no on the perimeter....

MBabe...is the wagon in question...a Tumbleweed Times Delivery Wagon?
