AAQ card to Carpedisney, It can be found just inside the left entrance ( if looking toward the castle). I have frequented it also.

Higgs, it is in the general vicinity of the flag pole also.

Wow...It looks like I have an AAQ card to use here ;)

In the current incarnation of JIYI at the very beginning of the ride you go past 5 "Office" type doors, then after a briefing from the director if the Institute there is one last door. What is written on these 6 doors?

Have fun :p....

Ummm...here's a guess...touch, sight, taste, hearing, smell, and imagination??

(Puff Puff) Hi guys, sorry I'm late! Got stuck in Buzz Lightyear for 3 hours and had to top out my score!

It's a team event! The people in the American Adventure booths are Mark Twain, Alexander Graham Bell, Andrew Carnegie, and Susan B. Anthony

I just saw that Ozzel/Kim got the answer-AAQ's to you! I'll get caught up in a minute!

Nope Higgs... you're way off base. But... you should be able to figure one of these out ;)....very small hint there :p

:smooth:

MBabe is creativity one of the doors at Journey? Who wants to go find Figment with me?

I was going to take pictures of those doors and didn't. They had peoples names on them and departments....arrrrgghhh.
one was Dream study. ....I'll have to search.

Uh oh.....look out fellow members of the CC. Carpe and MBabe are back from their "Stump the CC Mission" that they so cleverly disguised as family vacation trips to WDW! :p

I vaguely remember those doors, MBabe. Was one about the Dream Department or Daydream Dept??

Please note: This is post number 1967 on this thread. Four posts from now will be the ultimate magic number post. Please have your speech ready, someone!!!

Find Figment? That's easy. You don't have to look to long or hard. He's right here in my avatar! :)
<------------ Everybody sing! Immaaaaaaaaa-gin-aaaaaaaayyy-shun.... Immaaaaaaaaa-gin-aaaaaaaayyy-shun....
:teeth: :teeth:

Since I haven't ridden the new version of JIYI, I'll have to pass on a guess. :( Just wait till April, tho. Then I'll ride it over and over and over and over.... :p

Ok... RL thing here... I posted this on the Water thread, but everyone seems to be over here. Are any of you Microsoft Access experts? If so, PM me. I'd like to ask a question. :) Thanks! :)

Carpe'.... no the Dream Study was later on in the ride.....

As I mentioned the five doors are at the very beginning... before the briefing and one more immediately after the briefing.... for a total of 6

DD and I rode it twice in a row to confirm our observations :p.

Jen, no, not creativity either.

:p

Edit: Wait... Jay.... you need computer help???? And here I have been asking you for help all along thinking you were an expert :p

OK...I have no earthly idea what those doors say....but looking at MBabe's hint...I'm going to guess that one of the doors says "Higgs--Journalist, Writer, and Resident Wit" :)

At least that's what it says in my mind...:p

Hey....I just realized....

THIS IS POST #1971

Way to go CCers!!!!

We hit the magic number again!!!

No long-winded speeches....let the party begin :D

Hey...I just HAD to be the one to make the magical post...I always missed the milestones on the other threads.....lol

Higgs....congratulations, but in the interest of CC peace, I'm going back to delete my offensive post from last week.

Oh, gee....that would make this, POST #1971 !!!

Uh...just kidding! And I think it's time to have a second open question while MBabe's fastball is out there!

LOL...pretty good Granny :)

OK...here is a second open question while we wait on MBabe...

Which closed MK ride's former queue area is now being used as a character greeting area?

Here is an afternoon softball just to keep us moving ...

What was the name of the parade before Tapestry of Dreams in EPCOT?

Higgsi that would be the 20K Leagues Under the Sea queue area ...

Looks like we were posting at the same time:)

DJen...was that Tapestry of Nations?

Hey...who wants to hit the Mexican pavillion...I could use some afternoon nachos...and of course, a Margarita....we could draw the CC around the table...after all...we have the special portable CC!

Tapestry of Nations parade Jen?

Edit note: Bah! Higgs beat me to the punch!

BLING BLING BLING - Too Many Questions!!

OK, I'm just being silly. But I do have some answers to offer up:

Higgs: 20K Under the Sea queue is now Character Carnaval

Jen: it used to be Tapestry of Nations (better version)

MBabe: Are you refereing to the offices of Wayne Selinzski(sp?), Nigel Channing and Robin Williams (the character that created Flubber whom I cannot think of at the moment)? Those are the only ones I can remember.

-Kim

edit: gee wiz this thread moves fast. doesn't help that I'm a slow typer. :)

LOL...looks like we posted at the same time again DJen :p

You got it...it is the 20K boarding area...now a nice shaded area for the sweaty teenagers in costum.....errr...the lovable Disney characters to greet their guests...:)

edited to add: Thanks Kim for keeping an eye on the open questions....:p
BTW...you got the 20K question right...but DJen got it first...but you do get extra credit for knowing it is the character carnival...:)

OK...I think we're safe from the dreaded black monorail now...GAME ON!
