Welcome back Ocean ... glad to see our little family feud didn't scare you away;)

Granny I'll have one of those Sierra Pale Ales they have on tap there please:smooth: Granny smacks the softball outta here. Here is a Tom Morrow AAQ Granny.

Ah, the computer has finally thawed out. I never thought I'd get that answer in in time.

What is the price of the 7 ride coupon book when the Magic Kingdom first opened?

Jen...one Sierra Pale Ale, coming up! I don't seem to be serving too many frozen drink concoctions today for some reason! :smooth:

And, I'm enjoying these little picture questions (hope you all are too), so

Where at WDW was this picture taken, and what is it?

Guess we should have some Bailey's in our coffee after dinner tonight ... how does Artist Point sounds folks?

Gometros did the price of the original book cost 50 cents? I just remember as a kid having lots of A tickets left.

Just stopping in to tell everyone that I will be gone for the rest of the night. (Can I use the AAQ card I'm expecting from Granny tommorrow morning?)

distriv...yes, you are correctly anticipating an AAQ card for guessing Mickey's Sorcerer Hat at MGM. Here's a full picture:

<img src= "http://www.wdwig.com/octbah.jpg" width=350>

Jen...I can't seem to find the Baileys....I wonder if our little Irish MBabe took it all with her to WDW? :p

And since I had a confirmation of a question in this post, I feel free to guess 71 cents for the cost of the original 7 ride coupon book! :smooth:

Distriv you get the first question tomorrow morning ... stay warm:)

Looks like we are waiting for Sandy to let us know if we are close with our guesses of 50 cents and 71 cents for the old ride books....

And just to keep us honest ...

What year did the WEDway Peoplemover become the Tomorrowland Transit Authority?

Nah, it didn't scare me away. I've actually been following the questions and answers when I have a chance. But since the new streamlined, low-fluff version of the game moves so much faster, I hate to risk getting one right when I won't be able to keep up with replies to any question I might ask. *LOL*

No, not 50 cents or 71 cents.

Since I'm heading out for the night, I will let someone else answer the WEDway to TTA answer (I Know! I Know!, but I ain't telling).

Who's bringing in the caffinated drinks tomorrow? Please make them hot.

okay, I'll guess $7.10 for a 7 ride coupon book in 1971. No? The ticket pricing people weren't into the mystical number 71??

Then how about $4.75 for the coupon book?

When was the WEDWay name change? How about 1992 (pure guess)? I suppose a shotgun response is out of the question? :smooth:

Ocean...welcome back, and I agree that there are times that I don't answer a question because I know if I ask one I won't be around to monitor answers. That's a pretty nice way to look at things. But if you know an answer, toss it out there and just tell us (like distriv just did) that you can't ask one for a while. That way, we'll know to ask one in the meantime in your absence.

Now I've got to go track down Mikelly and B'rer Karen and let them know it's safe to come back to the Chalk Circle! :)

Granny will you bring the extra HOT drinks tomorrow? I hope JWill still bring us breakfast;)

Ocean maybe onto something. lol;)

Sandy did the books cost $1.50?

Granny it's to early for the shotgun ... plus we don't want to scare folks away again:p Alas your answer of 1992 is not correct.

Jen...how about 1987 for the WEDWay name change?

I'll bring hot drinks in the morning. Hopefully, jwill can bring some steaming hot biscuits and muffins!

I'll guess 1986 for the name change.
Bring many hot drinks...now they're saying the low here will be 14. :o Can you believe some counties are shutting down school's here because of the cold? Unfortunately, lol...not my DD's. Something I've never heard of before.

Sending some Mickey flannel sheets your way MK:wave: I sure hope Jwill can find his way back to the CC 'cause we sure will need some hot croissants and muffins from the BoardWalk Bakery in the morning.

Incorrect answers from MK and Granny:( Here is a recap ... not to be confused with a nightcap of Bailey's which we can't have since MBabe cleaned out the CC of that nectar of the gods before leaving for WDW ...

What year did the WEDway Peoplemover become the Tomorrowland Transit Authority?

Incorrect guesses to date ...

1992 - Granny
1987 - Granny
1986 - MK

I'm here!!! I'm so honored I was missed. I wasn't scared away. My crappy real life just interferred for awhile, and it will again tomorrow when I have to go to Atlanta for a business trip (Can't you see how excited I am?

As I went back through the pages I missed, I'm so bummed I missed them. I knew the Rosie question right away!

To stay on topic I'll guess the WEDWAY became the TTA in 1993

EDIT: Who put that under my name? That is soooo cool! And so me :)

I'll guess $3 for the ticket book. :) Are any answers close yet?

And I'll guess 1994 for the WEDWay/TTA name change.

MK, they're closing schools just b/c it's getting cold?? Never heard of that either. Usually they wait for it to threaten an ice storm here before doing that. Then the next day it's all melted by noon. Good way to get a free day off! :p I'm sure your DD wouldn't mind them closing her school tho. ;)

DisneyJen arranges the rocking chair in front of the fireplace at Wilderness Lodge into a circle ...

Glad to see you B'rer Karen ... have a safe and warm trip to Atlanta:wave: Sorry to say your answer is incorrect:( Granny is buying, so what will you have to drink here in our virtual happy hour:)

Incorrect guesses to date ...

1992 - Granny
1993 - B'rer Karen
1987 - Granny
1986 - MK

EDIT: So I am not accused of increasing my post count, lol ... A People Mover AAQ to Jay ... it was 1994.

Never fear....I have a bottle of Baileys....right Jay?
Thanks for the flannels Jen, I'm breaking out the elect. blanket too.

Ok...how about 1983?

Well if Granny's buying, I'll have a coffee with Bailey's please.

And I'll guess a ticket book cost $10.00
