Parks Game! Part 7.1! Come On...Keep Playing...You Know You Want To!

I'll ask one, but remember, I'm a newbie.

What's the name of the poet who hosts the (recently changed) Circlevision movie in Epcot's China Pavilion?

Alternate question, in case my first one's a repeat...

What's the name of the beer served in the Norway Pavillion?

P.S. Aquaculture?

Hey Jay...2 good questions....:)

No idea on the first one...haven't seen it in years....

As for the beer...is it Askerhaus (or is that the name of a restaurant...I get confused... )

Well that looks like something that would be part of Mission:Space. Since that's not open yet, I'm gonna guess that it's in the preview area for Mission: Space in Innoventions.

BTW, we're slacking. I was looking at Higgs sig and the dates of all the late, great Parks Game Threads. Since they started limiting us to 150 pages, we've been averaging about a thread a month. This thread started 5/15 and we're only half way through. We need to pick up the pace!

The restaurant is indeed Akershus. Any guesses? Hint: It's not Viking Light, nor is it Trollwieser.

Granny- that photo looks vaguely DisneyQuest-related to me. And I guess Aquaculture isn't one of the answers, huh?

Isn't it something like Ringles? Norway and China are the only two countries I haven't imbibed in, but I think I heard or read that name somewhere.

Woohoo! Close enough, B'rer Karen. It's Ringnes, and it's yummy. The beer in China is Tsingtao, by the way, but who's our poet-guide?

(excuse my rookie-ness, but now I get to hand Karen an AAQ card, right?)

Hi Guys...wow, the DSL is down a week and the whole board looks different....
Higgs, I'll guess either Space Mountain or Astro Orbiter for the pic.

Higgs...I was hoping that some of those key clues I handed out would help you in your search! :p

Yes, a hyrdoponic AAQ card to Higgs to share with his research team! :)

(Karen...I kind of like having the thread hang around a little longer than a month....though we'll never see the year old one like Part 2!) :p

Jay72....sorry, we had a couple of active questions there so it does get confusing. I gave Higgs a "close enough" on aquafarming....the answer was Aquacell. And he proceeded to close the question out on his next post. :)

(BTW, it's Higgs' photo, not mine that we're working on!)

MK...nice to see you back! And I was going to say Astro Orbiter too on that picture, so I'll second you instead. :)

LOL...I tried to sneak a tricky fastball by all of you...LOL :)

I'm giving a "close enough" AAQ to Karen...

That picture is from inside Mission:Space (the gift shop to be precise...:p)

BTW...I'm not revealing my sources on how I got that picture...:)

Gotcha, Granny. Should I reveal the answer to the Chinese poet question, or let it ride a little longer?

Let it ride Jay....somebody will figure it out...it's a great question...

Feel free to give a hint if you want...:p

Jay72....oh, thanks for reminding me about that open question.

I'm going to say that the Chinese poet is named Li Bai.

Not to be confused with his brothers Botany, Green and Tampa! :p

Li Bai it is, the Keanu Reeves of 8th century China. He was huge. ;)

I believe it's pronounced bye, so the confusing cousins would be Good (both Bye and Buy) and Drive.

Here's an AAQ card, Granny, written in Chinese. Good thing you already know what it says...

Hey! Just though of this (although I think I'm now in danger of going from the obscure to the preposterous...). Wasn't Chow Yun Fat's character in "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" named Li Mu Bai? Coincidence? Hmmm...

Higgs we know you and you're tricky questions too well around here!

Okay, here's another one from this trip. It might be a softball, but I'd never done this attraction before.

What is the name of the host of Playhouse Disney in MGM?

Hmmmmm, never seen the show. I found this shotgun the corner and theres only one shell left. Might as well use it.
Bob?
Steve?
George?
Sandy?
Bear?

Karen I haven't seen that show in a LONG time ... going out on a limb here ... Is it Big Bear from the Big Blue House?

I'm going to have to guess the host is Jamie...since Bear in the Big Blue house is just part of the show.

Sorry Distriv, you missed it with your shot gun blasts.

Jen, Bear in the Big Blue House is part of the show, but not the host.

And Granny gets the furry AAQ for knowing that Jamie is the host!

Good Afternoon all.... It it nice and :sunny: here today... Would anyone like to join me in a nice cold Whiparita?

What do these attractions have in common? Voyage of the Little Mermaid, Pirates of the Caribbean and 20,000 Leagues?

:smooth:
