Parks Game! Part 6! Keep Playing! You Can't Stop Now!

Boy, every time I get a few minutes break from my school and work, you guys have moved to another thread. BUT, next week school will be out until September, and I'll only be working 4-10's. Soooo, look out: My number questions will be back.

Sorry, can't remember the name of that side street. I have a great picture of it from Christmastime, 1985 somewhere. If I find it, I'll post it.

The side of the Main Street that has been lost forever, which was once home to the Flower Market, was/is known as Center Street West.

Steve, LOVE your new avatar!

In honor of our dearly departed Horizons, here is a related question:

How did they evacuate the Horizons vehicles (like the one in Steve's avatar) in case of ride malfunction or emergency?

Not sure about the answers to the open questions....but I wanted to jump in here and say how psyched I am to see our old friends Dave and Kim come back home!!!!
Welcome back...you were missed :)

As for the Horizons question....was it underneath the IMAX screen????

Nope. Think about the logistics of the way the ride is setup. It's not one specific location you have to get to but rather a way out of your vehicle....

MBabe you were right about the doghouse. It is red. A very late AAQ card to you.

Hey Kim - no problem...I just wanted a kiss was all...!!

See - I even cleaned the black monorail for you while you were gone...see - I CAN be good!!! I didn't take advantage of the fact that you handed me the keys to the PGSP monorail...I'm not a troublemaker...:teeth:

Horizons - did they lift the entire front of the car (like the doors in Back to the Future at Universal?)

Wow that would be a long way down in some parts of the ride like the IMAX. Very creative answer but alas not correct, Madonna.

Wow!!! Kim jumps right back in and again takes over the CC. Another AAQ to Kim-it was Center Street West.

I'm a little scared that ksdave is gonna be here (almost) full-time now. Anyone else?

Yes! ksdave is coming home :bounce:

Like Higgs needs antoher reason to Party :p

MCMom.... in Horizons did they "Exit your vehicle to the left and proceed to the nearest exit?" :p

Ummm nope.... But good guess, MBabe

MCMom, I believe in case of an emergency, the rear panel of the car could be removed and guests could be escorted along a pedestrian sidewalk that runs the entire length of the track.

Whoooo Hooo! Way to go Ben! You got it. Only thing is it would have taken FAR too long to evacuate that ride had there been any real emergency like a fire. Yikes! Every car had a sliding rear door that had to be opened manually by a CM then the car had to be steadied while the passengers stepped out onto the narrow pathway.

Orange scented AAQ to Ben. You're up!

One last question before we go to bed...

At the beginning of IASW, you see a group of marching wooden soldiers playing drums and trumpets. How many soldiers are in this group?

I'll check all your answers (if you have them in) in the morning; if not, you'll have to wait until late afternoon.

Night, all!:o
