Parks Game - Part 13 - Still PLAYING!

Jen - that wasn't aimed at you. It was for Wagster's remark about old timers :lmao:

I display that as a badge of honor. Btw, some of the old WDWWDS crowd are still around. The only one I lost track of is OT.

Patiently waiting for plutopup to wake up and ask the next question.

Sandy;
I just "saw" OT on the "To Infinity....and Beyond" site on Christmas Day.

I think wagster92 is on to something. Isn't there a wall in Canada that can be seen from throughout World Showcase. I think they put some type of facade on it to blend in with the Canadian theme.

If I remember correctly, I think theres a waterfall somewhere close to that wall to cover up the sound the generator makes

anyone want to cash in an AAQ while we're waiting for an answer? I would but.... I have none :guilty:

... and to add to webster92's answer, I believe the waterfall/Rockies blocks the view of Imagination/Future World.

AAQ's are kind of arbitrary versus keeping the game moving. Go ahead and throw out a question and see if we can catch it  .

Alright I'll see if I can pull a fast one....:thumbsup2

What is the name of the vine-like creature that roams Animal Kingdom?

Devine!

What is one of the names used by Walt to buy property in Fl for WDW?

Really? I thought he dropped out of sight?

Keep guessing guys. It wasn't something that was covered up - more an extension of the onstage appearance to a backstage area. I learned this on the Keys to the Kingdom tour.

Hint: it had to do with something being added after the disguised attraction had already been built.

Remember to put your questions in bold so that they can easily be spotted.

I got it! Is it the entrance to the lagoon that they use for the boat/floats? They disuised it as to not ruin the affect

Nope, keep guessing. Another hint: It's a building facade that doesn't face the World Showcase, but faces backstage.

Sandy,

Does it have to do with addition of the Villas at the Beach Club?

So many hidden things! haha, wow this is a tough one

I don't know about the rest of you ... but I think I am going to start at the front of the park by SE and work my way through ... toward International Gateway.

Who's in?:cool1:

Is it the path to the boardwalk?

Yep... the International Gateway is between France and the UK in Epcot and takes you to the BoardWalk if you bear to the left and the Beach Club if you bear to the right.

YAY! :cool1: That took some thought

In MGM, I forget the new name, by the New York facade in the back, there is a small gift shop, what's the name of this gift shop?

gometros, I'm still pondering that one

Come on guys! We need to keep posting! Hey does anyone know about a thread for disney secrets? I tried to start one but it failed

I'll give it a shot to keep it going.

There is one backstage area of the World Showcase that had to be covered up. Where is it, what was done and why?

Not sure I'm correct because of the Boardwalk clue, but I'm going to say the Tower of Terror, which is high enough to be seen from WS, but doesn't technically face it. The facade was covered in such a way that it wouldn't stick out, but rather blend into the look of the Moroccan pavilion.
