Parks Game: Part 11! "Still Playing After All These Years..."

Has anybody said The Enchanted Tiki Room- Under New Management?

Also, the Polynesian Revue was changed and renamed The Spirit of Aloha last year or the year before.

The new and unimproved Enchanted Tiki Room opened in the spring of 1998.

Sorry Monorail Dude, I didn't see your post. Yes, JIYI is one of the answers, but Mbabe already named it. BTW - I also love the monorails....I wish they'd put out a CD with all the monorail spiels and such..."por favor, mantanganse allahado de los puertas"....or something like that.

Iwannabeminnie and James D named one that I totally forgot, the Enchanted Tiki Room under new management. I thought that was between 9/15/99 & 9/15/04, but it's not on the list.......however,.....the list is now down to one......

Because LindaD nailed Dinosaur; congrats Linda!!!

That leaves us with one attraction that is not at MK or AK and was brand new or significantly changed between 9/15/99 & 9/15/04, .......Distriv, have faith, this one is soo easy.........

:earsboy:

Do the changes to ToT count (the five different drop sequences?)

ADaddy.... I believe that Animation tour has changed, the NY Street renovation and, has the new Stunt Spectacular begun?

:smooth:

ADaddy....I know the last one will be a real headslap, but it's not jumping out at me. MGM or EPCOT, huh?

Did they change the name and content of Universe of Energy when they brought Ellen Degeneres in?

Sorry Folks! None of those are correct.

All of those changes did take place between 9/15/99 and 9/15/04 ( I believe ), but they're not the change I'm looking for.....

So to sum up: we're looking for a ride or attraction at MGM or EPCOT that was significantly changed or new between 9/15/99 and 9/15/04.

Here's a re-cap of correct answers as of right now

Adaddy...was the last one Rock n Roller Coaster? Actually, I thought that opened in July of 1999, so I guess it wouldn't count.

Living Seas at EPCOT has had a little re-modeling...does that qualify?

and Spaceship earth has had some cosmetic changes with the wand and such.

[uncle]

Granny....don't say Uncle.....you got it!

Epcot experienced a major change during the Millenium Celebration with the name evolving from EPCOT to Epcot and the addition of Mickey's hand and wand alongside Spaceship Earth featuring "2000" followed by "Epcot". This was the last item on my list so please start using those AAQ cards folks!

We were at WDW twice during the Millenium Celebration and loved watching the addition of the hand and wand and the related changes.

Congrtulations to all!

Sorry folks! None of the above..............well, kinda

I did have Goofy's Barnstormer on the list, but I'm sure James is right about it opening in 1996 so Tinerbellangel gets points from me even though I'm somewhat chronologicaly challenged.

As for James' answers; all are correct, but I wasn't after resorts and stores and such, so none of them were on my list.

There are still 4 more to go: here are some hints - the four remaining answers include 2 parades, one ride, and one attraction in three different parks all of which were significantly changed or introduced as "new" between 9/15/99 and 9/15/04.

Granny - Is Stitch open? We'll be at the Contemporary over Thanksgiving and are hoping to see it then, but I was under the impression that it hadn't opened yet.

Good luck to all!

:earsboy:

Didn't your post state that tinerbellangel get's an AAQ Card as well.

ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter was in June, 1995
Legend of the Lion King was in July, 1994.
Sounds Dangerous was April, 1999.
And the new movie at the China pavilion is called 'Reflections of China'.

Good question, Adaddy!

hello all-

sorry I missed the anniversary (thanks for the PM reminder!)

It's good to see most of you still here, as well as so MANY new players. May the chalk circle live forever . . .

mlcar....awesome to see you back in the old Chalk Circle here! Thanks so much for dropping in! :)

And ADaddy.....you have a knack of coming up with those questions that get one to walk the parks in our minds. And that's always a pleasurable experience! :)

I'll use up one of those AAQ cards to ask a question:

What kind of creature are we looking to retrieve on the Dinosaur ride?

Morning, Granny! How've you been?

I'm up waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too early but I know this one!

The IGUANADON.

MCMom :earsgirl:

MCMom...you are all over this one! Yes, we are looking for Dr. Seeker's iguanadon. An oversized yet lovable AAQ card to you! :)

Awwwww thanks Granny. I'll cash that one in now.

What are the "elevators" called in The Living Seas that take you to and from Seabase Alpha?

BONUS: How many of them are there?

MCMom....I believe they call them hydrolators. And I'm trying to think, but can only guess that there are eight of them?
