Parks Game: Part 11! "Still Playing After All These Years..."

Well Granny, you are mighty close according to my source but not quite on the nose. :smooth:

Can you just imagine having to rake up under a REAL tree that size though? Makes me tired and hungry just to think about it. Think I'll mosey over and fetch a round of Dole Whips and a handful of churros for the CCers while I am waiting for another guess!

MCMom

Well, I'm not trying to get into Let's Make a Deal here, so I'll just post one more guess.

How about 105,000 leaves and 7,500 branches?

Oh, and a Dole Whip sounds REAL GOOD right about now! A great way to start off the holiday weekend!

Ah, LMAD... I used to work there! How did you know, Granny?

Alas, let's play the Hi/Lo game from The Price is Right instead. Makes life much easier here.

100,000 too low and 105,000 too high on leaves.

7500 still too low on branches.

MCMom

Didn't LMAD used to be part of the WDW experience? Sounds like a good trivia question.

Okay, since you were so sweet as to bring the churrus and DW, I'll play along here.

I'll guess 104,000 leaves, and 8,000 branches.

Any closer?

And I'm getting in the mood for the weekend already...got any red, white and blue Dole Whips?

Oh Granny you look so festive and patriotic!!! I don't have any red or blue food coloring for the Dole Whips BUT I do happen to have some "America's Birthday Cake" ice cream from Baskin Robbins in my fridge that I would be glad to share!

You NAILED the branches and are just a tad high on the leaves. Oh wait that doesnt sound right does it? Your answer of 104,000 on the leaves is a little bit high. ;)

And yes, LMAD was an attraction at WDW and was also taped at the Studio. It was quite a fun place to work and Monty Hall was a laugh a minute!

MCMom

And TheBellhop swoops in with the correct answer for the leaves!

Leafy green AAQs to Granny and TheBellhop!

Okay....I'll go with 103,500 leaves. I think I must have double-counted some before. :teeth:

Edit to add: Oops! never mind that last guess of mine! And I think I've had enough churros now!

I don't want to ask a question now because I'm not sure how much I'll be around this long weekend. So have at it, BellHop!

In the meantime, we'll all mosey on over to Mexico in WS and I'm buying the margaritas (and pouring them)!

Here's wishing everyone a happy 4th of July weekend. Try to stay cool!!

Yikes, we're on page 3! I'll dust off an old AAQ card here to bump us up.

What is the name of the boy Buzzy is piloting in Cranium Command and what is the name of the girl he falls in love with?

This is not about politics, one person's views, opinions, etc. - This is to say how happy and proud I am to be an American, to enjoy our freedoms, and to thank those who have made it possible.

God Bless America.

Have a safe, happy and healthy Fourth of July!

Ace...I can't say it any better than that. Thanks!

And that's a great graphic. ::yes::

Happy belated 4th of July everyone!!!!! :)

I'll second Dave on the Cranium Command answer....

'Doh, I forgot I posted a question! KSDave gets it right and earn a patriotic AAQ.

Good morning everyone! Anyone else tired of all this rain?

Looks like we could use a question, so here goes:

In the Great Movie Ride at MGM, what "scene" follows the opening scene of Busby Berkeley's "Footlight Parade" dancing girls?

Well Granny there are two scenes, on your right is Mary Poppins and on your left is Singin' in the Rain.

:umbrella:

MBabe...I was looking for Gene Kelly, so I'd say you nailed that one! A "Singin' in the Rain" AAQ card to you! :umbrella:
