What about the Great Movie Ride, MB?

All right - I know that no one liked the Birthday Cake Castle... But I loved it! I am a pink kinda girl - and I was 12 or 13 when we saw it - so it was the perfect timing for me!

So here is a giant cake with pink icing... oh yeah and a AAQ card too, to you Walt - good job

Thanks Adam and Todd for the back ups

I will second James on the GMR reference - it is a pretty huge one too - There is a huge animatronic of Gene swinging on his light post...

the siblings can tell you that I will always try to swing on the light post in true Gene fashion at WDW - sadly it never works out quite right...

Does that mean I am a reference to Singin in the Rain? Yeah! :umbrella: I think it does!

So my guess is me!

MBabe - thanks for the AAQ card -- I will have to use it later, as my family and I have decided to take a quick trip over to visit the mouse today. - We are going to check out the christmas decorations... so MK first, then Epcot WS, then MGM for fantasmic, then back to MK to see the decorations lit up at night.

whoo hoo -- i love living so close to WDW

talk to you guys soon. -- I will take care of a whiparita for everyone.

:sunny: Good Morning All!

Adam... You lucky dog! Have a wonderful day at the World. :wizard:

James & Bethie.... MK beat you to the GMR.... That's why she got the AAQ card ::yes:: I could never miss that, as I said before I love that scene ;)

:p

Have fun Adam! Give Amanda a big hug and kiss for me! I miss my girl! I cant wait to see her in a few days!

Sorry about that Mbabe - I totally missed MK's guess :)

Is the raining umbrella a "true" reference to Singin? That is so fabulous! Any reference to a musical is good enough for me!

Is the raining umbrella a "true" reference to Singin? I have never seen it and am quite curious!

Any reference to a musical makes my heart happy! :teeth:

OK, here's a question fresh from my visit last week to WDW...

What is the name of the fortress that houses Pirates of the Carribean?

:smooth:

WA

The area that PotC is located in is called Caribbean Plaza, but I don't know if that's what you're looking for.

Sorry for the terribly delayed response folks,....

an AAQ card goes out to Todd for the correct response on the details of Mickey's gloved hand over SSE! .........funny thing that no one pointed out, although I'm sure alot of us already know this, but the main page for this discussion features a picture of the gloved hand over SSE.....that's why I said it was a major wiffle ball.

Anyway, enjoy the rest of the weekend folks, I'll see you on Monday.

No, I'm talking about the fortress (building) itself.

HINT: The name is Spanish.

Well, the tower on the fortress is known as the "Torre del Cielo" or "Tower of the Sky." I'm wondering if that's what you're looking for, matey. pirate:

Thanks Beth and MBabe. We had a great time at the parks yesterday. The weather was perfect, low/mid seventies and sunny. Just PERFECT.

I do have a few new questions to throw out, however I will wait until later to ask them.

To keep this post on subject I will guess - La Fortaleza de Piratas

:)

Glad you had fun Adam - I can only imagine the random questions you have picked up!

I will throw out a second to Ace's answer...

It sounded intelligent since he had a translation. muy bien!

;)

Ok - Beth, if it will help... my guess "La Fortaleza de Piratas" is spanish for 'the Pirates Fortress'. Now will you second mine?

:)

absotudelootly!
(its kinda hard to spell a variation of a word - that really isnt a word... hmm...)
