Just checked the WDW website and it shows all WDW parks will closed tomorrow (Sunday) too.

Everyone down there....stay safe!

I must apologize, at first I checked the website and the pop up said closed today and possiblely opened limited hours on sunday and I looked no further. Just looked at the calendar for September now and it says closed on sunday....sorry about that....

Prayers and thoughts for the people who live in Fla and for the visitors there now.....

Hmmmm....I just rechecked and it still shows the parks closed.

I enter through a Passholder link and then click on the calendar.

Blueberry, where do you find your link? And I wonder which is most up to date?:scratchin

When I check the WDW site says its closed as does Allearsnet.

I think with the storm slowing down, they are looking at a huge soaking and lots of wind all day tomorrow(and maybe the next).

Stay safe our Florida friends:D

It was a pop up that came on when you first logged into the site that says the limited hours...The one that has been giving current info for a few days..now it is gone and the calendar says it is closed....Sorry for the confusion, I never looked at the calendar before. Maybe they were just updating it when I first logged on. The parks are closed for tomorrow it says....Thanks for sharing the info with everyone....:sunny:

No need to apologise Blueberry...we're all just sharing info. I'm sure it is a very fluid situation for those at WDW who make the decisions as well as the folks that make the changes on the website.

The storm is still going to be going through the Central Florida area on Sunday. I find it hard to believe that they would open on Sunday.

It is best they stay closed so the employees can stay home during this with their families too....WDW will be there on monday for those who are there already and until then they need to stay inside too and not try and go out in it.....

Prayers for everyone there, visitors and most of all for the residents right now.

Someone at one of the resorts just said that they received at note that told them that the parks would all be closed on Sunday.

Just out of curiosity... what is there to do if the parks are closed and it's raining out (no swimming either.) There must be something that disney has for their guests to do, besides sit in their rooms.

During Charley, they should Disney movies on three channels, I heard. Most likely they'll be doing that again.

Like during Charlie, Disney is playing three different movies on the TV over and over.
Finding Nemo on Ch 14.
Monsters Inc on Ch 18.
Brother Bear on Ch 23.

I'm currently at SSR (Saratoga Spring Resort) which has DVD players in the room, so yesterday I bought some DVD from Downtown Disney that I wanted.

SSR has a Community Hall because it is a DVC resort, and this morning I was able to borrow board games to bring back to the room. I borrowed Scrabble and Trivia Pursuit for us to play.

I can't say what guests in other resorts are doing, but we have spent the day watching movies, playing board games and watching the weather on the TV.

We anticipate tomorrow will be a similiar day.

Having a different sort of Disney Vacation...

They usually also provide entertainment such as character meet and greets.
