Parks capacity during Easter break

Going to Disney the week before Easter. I have a 2 day park hopper and I really don’t want to spend money o upgrading. I have a park reservation for magic kingdom and was thinking of hopping to epcot or animal kingdom. My kids love kaliriver and it’s closed until Friday. However, Friday I will be at beach club and am rethinking my AK reservation and thinking of doing HS. Everyone is saying HS may reach capacity. Should I be worried about AK reaching capacity? It’s such a risk to hop there and be denied to go in. Kids would be upset. However they want to do HS still too. does anyone know if AK or Epcot has been reaching capcity?

Yeah, over Easter I would definitely plan to hop to AK and Epcot. HS could definitely fill up (it was in Nov and Dec) and as more people get vaccinated I only expect crowds will get higher from here on out as people become more comfortable with traveling. The only way to guarantee entry is a park reservation, so I would definitely make reservations for your top 2. Also, keep in mind you can only ride RotR if you have a park reservation for HS. It’s not an option if hopping.

I don’t believe it has since they enacted the capacity limits, but that doesn’t mean it can’t. Especially being that Easter is also spring break. In normal times it was probably behind Christmas, New Years, and Thanksgiving in terms of crowds. I can’t say that this will hold true during Covid, but so far the holidays have all been very busy still and that was pre-vaccine which is only increasing people’s willingness to travel again.
