Parks after dark

I was wondering how busy MK and Epcot are after dark.

Are the rides really busy? How about during the electric parade, are the rides busy?.

I'm thinking that if we can spend some afternoons at the pool or resting that we could have a blast at the parks at night. The only draw back would be that the kids would be getting to be late and then have to get up early the next morning.

Are the rides busy or even open at MGM during Fantasmic?

Note that, except for e-ride nights, the parks close at 10:00pm. That being said, the parades and shows will draw a lot of people away from the rides at the very end o fthe day.

During peak season, the most popular rides -the mountains at MK, ToT & rnRC at MGM -are typically crowded until the very end (park closing).
