Parks after dark?

SO we will be doing 3 of the parks in the mornings and the evenings. (The plan is to not do Animal Kingdom). Looking for opinions. Are there certain rides or places we should try to get to when it gets dark? Galaxy's Edge is the only place I have planned at the moment.

Slinky Dog Dash is a completely different coaster at night, I don't even ride it during the day anymore!

Big Thunder is another that has a whole different ambiance (and a few special scenes) at night.

Jungle Cruise at night is awesome. So is the TTA

If you do Jungle Cruise at night, apply bug spray first. We had so many bites afterward, partially because we had to wait while a handicap-accessible boat unloaded.

Have not done Jungle Cruise or safari, but want to.

This is my DD18’s MUST DO at night when we return in June. I just hope we aren‘t waiting in line forever since the LLs run out so fast.

Tower of Terror after dark and raining is the best! One of my favorite times there. So cool when the door open and it's a stormy night out there.

I agree with SDD, ToT and BTMRR. I like PeopleMover after dark as well. Basically any of the roller coasters or rides that go high so you can see the lights. Heck, I even enjoy doing the Swiss Family Treehouse after dark and if you can be at the higher points during FWs it's a pretty good view.

I'll add Main Street in MK is pretty when all lit up at night and the main drag at HS and street ToT is on. A lot of people like Pandora in AK at night, it doesn't do much for me but each his own. All the parks have an icon that does a show at night and all are pretty cool, I really like the ToT and Tree of Life ones. I think they are bringing back the lighted sidewalks at Epcot but know when.

Splash Mountain at night time was a family tradition of ours when I was a kid. We always tried to hit it so when the drop came the fireworks would be booming in front of us. Back then the line would be so short we would run off and run right back on 3 or 4 times. It's so nice when on the outside portions, with the lights twinkling and just the sounds of the water and music.

Both Toy Story Land and Galaxy Edge at DHS are very beautiful at night.

Love the Parks at night - to me, it is the best time to go!

I prefer Tomorrowland at night, especially the AstroOrbiter, which I don't bother riding during the day.

If you happen to be there on May 4th, I would highly recommend Galaxy's Edge after dark. On a regular night Galaxy's Edge is pretty awesome by itself. But on May 4th, it comes alive with lit-up light sabers! We found out this year that there is a group of people that does this every year. It really was pretty spectacular. It added so much more to the ambiance of that land!

In MK, Tomorrowland is pretty cool all lit up at night. We also tend to do Fantasyland after dark because a lot of people with young kids clear out after the fireworks and a most of the rides become “walk on” besides Peter Pan and 7 Dwarves.

Never heard of the light sabers at Galaxy's Edge! Disneyland or Disney World?
