ParkPass Reservations and No Shows

While we would obviously make every effort to show for a reserved park day or cancel in advance, I am wondering if there are penalties of any sort for not showing up and not canceling in advance? If it matters, we have annual passes and just want to know all of the details.

Ok, we also had flex passes at Disneyland and I know there were penalties if you didn't show there without canceling a number of times within a certain time frame. They did have the option to call and explain what happened if there were extenuating circumstances as well. The idea was to ensure reservations would be freed up for those that would actually use them, so I was wondering if the same principle applied with these reservations.

Good to know the ins and outs of the system, as I said we would strive to cancel in advance to free up space for others, but sometimes things happen.

The only penalty I am aware of is if you plan to park hop and don't show up at the first park, you can't hop.
