We are planning to stay off-site for the first time. On past visits when we've rented a car and stayed onsite we've gotten the parking pass from our resort. The pass lasted all week and we could drive through the gates with ease. I'm wondering, since we'll be offsite this time, will we be able to buy a parking pass for the whole week or will we have to stop and buy a pass every morning?

You will pay daily for parking at the theme parks.

As stated by the previous poster, you'll have to pay each day that you want to use the parking at one of the parks but an option for you is that some hotels have a free or pretty cheaper shuttle to the theme parks. So that is possibly an option for you as well.

As above, you’ll pay for parking at the first park you visit. If you park hop, just show your receipt and you won’t have to pay again.

And BTW, you generally won’t be able to park at any resort, especially the monorail, Skyliner, and near-park resorts, unless you have a reservation there. It’s best to plan to leave your car at a park and take Disney transportation to a resort if you just want to visit there.
