We will be going to US/IOA for the first time soon. I know thay they have parking garages, and it looks like an elevated walkway? I assume there is no tram system? How aggrivating is it to get out of a garage at park closing?

No trams...only the largest parking structures in the world.

The elevated walkway is on level three which is the Preferred parking level but doesn't add anything to shorten the walk. If you wanted to pay for Valet you could park very close to CityWalk. There are moving walkways to assist those who might have a problem walking.

Getting out the garages can be a pain depending on the park crowds.

I believe there are handicap parking spaces on every level but don't worry. There are elevators and escalators on every level too. I'll check the next time I go over.

I don't recall seeing handicap parking spaces anywhere but on level 3 (the walkway level) of the garage and at this point I think I've parked in every section of every level of both garages with the exception of the handicap parking area and the team member parking section. Hmmm, maybe I do spend too much time drinking sangria at Backwater......

When we were there Christmas week both times we were parked in the handicap parking on level 3 so no need to use elevators. If needed they have complimentary wheelchairs right at parking to use to you get to wheelchair rental right before city walk.

i have used the handicap parking in the garage and was able to park on level 3.

when that section is closed, you will be directed to a different level.
