For staying at a Disney hotel you will be given a pass to put in your car window that will give you free parking at the parks for your stay, if you drive to the park and not use Disney buses. There is no parking fee at the hotel you are staying at unless you valet park. If you go to another resort for a dining reservation you would be given a pass for 3 hours, unless you valet park.
The TTC is basically the parking for Magic Kingdom, so the parking rate there is the same price as the parking rate at the other parks, $12. As others have said, if you are an onsite guest or have an Annual Pass, there is no charge for the parking.
Although this is typically true in terms of no limit with Valet Parking, this is not an official policy and time limits can be inforced for Valet Parking just the same as Self Parking.
When you get to the security guard booth, they will ask for ID ask where you are going (nothing complex, and they really honestly, don't care all that much) and then hand you a 3 hour pass (looks like the normal resort pass).
