Parking Your ECV

Greetings: The Disboards have always been most helpful. I have a question that likely has been addressed before, but I couldn't find exactly what I'm looking for. My DH and I are Fl AP holders, so go to Disneyworld at least a few times a year. For the first time next month, my MS has progressed to the point where I can not manage to walk all day around the parks. I have an ECV, which we will be bringing with us. We stay at FW and drive to the parks, so Disney Transportation isn't a concern. I can and want to walk for short periods without difficulty, so would like to bring the EVC into the parks and safely park/lock it some place in a central location -- guessing by one of the attractions -- and come back later for it when I need its use. EPCOT is the park that is most challenging because of its size, so suggested locations there would be especially appreciated. Also, as this is my first trip using an EVC, any other tips are welcome. Thanks:cool1:

You can park it in any stroller parking area you can't lock it but you need to take the key with you CM might have to move it they put them in free wheel and move them often

If you're ever unsure of where to park it, we've found that CM's are generally very helpful telling us where.

I ride my scooter from one building to another in futureworld at EPCOT. I leave it outside with the strollers. I walk inside the attractions and then retrieve the scooter when we leave. Exception is Soarin. That line is just too long to stand in for me.

I park outside, often near the restrooms, in world showcase. I then walk the country. Exception being American Adventure. There using the scooter in the show, allows someone else to have the chair you would have used.

I have never heard of an ECV or scooter being stolen at WDW. You cannot lock them to anything as it creates a fire hazard. I worry more about keeping it dry than secured at WDW. Just remember to take your key. Leaving something that would not be a problem to loose, like a raincoat or soda, seems to keep them from being moved too.
