Parking with Annual Pass question

We just received out Florida Residents Annual Pass confirmation in the mail. I understand that this also gives us free parking at the 4 parks. Since we have to present the confirmation letter/cards along with photo ID at any Disney ticket booth at the parks how do we avoid paying for parking while in process of securing our annual passes at the gate for the first time? Will the parking attendents accept the letter as proof of the annual pass and let us park free?

You shouldn't have any problem. Just show them the confirmation & tell them you are going in to pick up your AP's.

OR you could stop by Guest Relations in DTD on your way in & pick them up there.

The attendant will more than likely just wave you through if you tell him you are getting your APs. If not, you can ask for a refund of the parking fee when you actually get your physical pass at guest relations.
