Parking when going to Goofy's Kitchen???

We are going to Goofy's Kitchen next week. We'll be driving from Newport Beach. Can we park in DLH parking lot? Or do we just need to park at DL parking?

You can park either there or in the Downtown Disney's parking lot.

If you park in DL you are going to have to pay anyway and it is further.

If the rules haven't changed since November 2008 then yes, Valet Parking is free for Goofy's. At least that's what the signs were saying back then.

How much time is given for the free parking? My DH's parents may watch our DDs for us on the evening of my birthday. We were thinking they could go to GK for dinner, walk around DTD for awhile, and then take the girls back to the room at bedtime. This would mean their car would be in valet parking for at least five hours and probably longer, though. And, I just thought of this, the car would still be in valet probably after GK closes for the evening. Thanks to the OP for posting this question!

Unfortunately I have no idea for Valet Parking, we didn't use it. I just saw the signs when my friends got the car.

DTD gives you 3 free hours and 5 with restaurant validation I believe.
