Parking the first day

We will be celebrating our daughter's sweet 16 at Disney in three weeks. We've done online check in and put an early morning arrival time. We hope to be able to go straight to MK first thing on her birthday morning (our first day). Can the parking attendant scan our magic band to show that we are resort guests so we don't have to pay for parking at MK? Hoping to bypass the resort first thing. Thanks!

when I did similar recently I parked at GF early in the AM and turned bags over to to bell service then took resort monorail to MK. Got a text message during the day telling me the room number when the room was ready (about 2:30) and bell services delivered bags to the room . . . Go straight to room using M'Band to open the door .. no stop at front desk needed. Did same at Contemp' last year. This way the bags don't cook in the car for the day.

yes it is best not to leave your toiletries in the car while at the park. The heat of the day will degrade the products that should not be expose to high heat. So its best to put them in a bag you plan to carry in the park and not leave them in a car that could reach temps as high as 120 degree rather quickly. And don't forget about your electronics they too should not be stored in the car while at the park. It might be best to drop your carry on's at bell services to avoid having to carry around a ton of stuff.
