Parking Security question

We'll be visiting US/IOA in a couple weeks and can't wait to get there. On the second day visiting we will have checked out of our hotel and will have all of our luggage in our van sitting in the parking lot.

Can't remember if the parking garages have security cameras. Would valet parking be a more secure parking environment?
