Parking questions if you stay off site

We are going to WDW in September and this is the first time we will stay off site. When we pay for parking at any of the parks, can we leave and come back like if we want to go back to our rental house while the kids take a nap or do we then have to pay a second time?

Also, if we park at MK and take a bus or the monorail to a different park how do we know when the last bus leaves to take us back to MK?

You pass is dated for that day and is good at any of the parks lots on that day. You can come and go as you wish.

the mk is the hardest parking lot to deal with - would park at Epcot first.

the only exception to this is when the MK closes after Epcot (only doing busy park days)


say you are parking at Epcot - then you need to be back at Epcot before it closes.

the buses run an hour after the park closes - but to be safe be back before then.

If MK is open longer than Epoct and that is where you are parked Disney Will get you to your car. Either the monorail will still be running or they will have Buses running to Epcot. All you have to do is ask a Tranport CM and they wil help you!

You only have to pay once per day.As far as parking at MK,remember that the parking lot for MK is the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) and that is located literally right next door to the Polynesian resort(5 min walk),so even if for whatever reason you can't find a bus to the TTC,you also have the option of getting on a bus to the Polynesian.
