Hello there! Maybe I can find a quick answer to this here. We are annual passholders and my sister in law is not. She is coming into town and wants to take my daughter to the park one day as sort of a “one on one” day. I assume the answer is yes but will she be able to use my daughter’s pass for parking? Usually they ask for ID but she is 8 and does not have one. Since it is a minors pass do they skip that part?

I am not sure that they have to honor free parking because your child doesn't have an ID. Of course you could have a cast member who is feeling extra magical or one who just doesn't care, but I think they'd technically be going against their own rules so I wouldn't count on it. They've been pretty consistent with checking ID for a while.

I guess you could get a State ID. We are annual pass holders and our kids go often with other friends/families to the parks and we had issues a few times when a fingerprint didn't work and one of my kids had no way to prove her identity, and was not attached to the family who took her there, and they almost didn't let her in. So now all of my kids have some form of official State ID. Then they can use that ID for parking (although all of our friends have APs) in case there's a glitch entering when someone else takes them, and if they're asked to show an ID for a discount.

I think you should be okay doing this. They will scan her MagicBand or hard ticket AP at the toll plaza and it should show she is a minor. If they are using an iPad her picture *may* even show up, confirming it's her AP. I've driven before and my brother was the AP holder and there were no issues since he was in the car, they didn't ask for ID (though there have been times when they did). Free parking is an AP benefit, it doesn't state an age requirement. I wouldn't worry about it. If they do charge, pay it and have them take the receipt to Guest Relations and explain the situation. They should refund the charge.
