Parking question

Ok, so usually we stay in a hotel within walking distance, but this weekend we are staying with friends and their family. This means we need to park How do I get to the main DLR parking lot from NB I-5? We typically exit Harbor Blvd, but I am not sure if this is right. Is there a better place in the parking lot to park? Tips? Advice? We will be arriving early tomorrow morning. TIA!

I believe the exit from the 5 is Disney Way and it should take you straight to the structure. It's been a little while (less than a year) since I've taken the 5 in, but I am pretty sure that is how it went the last time.

I hope someone can back this up or direct you to a better way!!

I think you still take Harbor Blvd. To be safe try doing Google maps from where you are going to be staying at.

That I know of there is no free parking or cheaper parking. This past time I went to DLR, we ended up in Woodys lot and I liked it better than Mickey and friends. In Woody's there a tons of buses constantly going back and forth. When we exited the park there was a fleet of empty buses

Follow the signs. They are lit somthing like construction signs and posted on the freeway itself.

If you are in the carpool lane I believe it drops you on Disney way like PP refered to. It exits the freeway from the middle HOV lanes. No need to get far right to exit. this runs you by the PUMBA lot. Which may or may not be open, again follow the signs.

you can get off at Disney Way that will direct you to the Mickey & Friends Lot.
Just follow the signs, you really can't miss it. They might also direct you to Buzz Lightyear lot off of Harbor. This is really much easier to get in and out of.

If you google map Disneyland, and take a look at the exit, you will see Katella one block south of Disney Way. When you exit Disney Way, turn left on Katella instead of following it through the intersection. Take katella about 2 blocks west to Harbor (this cuts off a long distance) and then turn left on Katella - Buzz Lightyear lot will be on your left about another block south.

Eitherway, you won't get lost. Its impossible.

Coming north on I-5, take the Disney Way exit. You can either go left on Katella or follow the road up to Disney Way then go left or right depending on which way the sign tells you to go. Katella would be a more direct route to the Toy Story lot. (Left then left.) If that lot's full, hang a right on Harbor to Ball, then left on Disneyland Dr. (2nd light.)
