Parking question

If you drive your rental car to the park for the day and then leave for a few hours, do you need to pay for parking again when you come back? Or is the parking fee good for all day?

Also, is there parking fee for Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon?

You pay once when you park your car, so if you wanted to leave and go somewhere else for awhile and then come back, just show your receipt and they will wave you through. Also, if you have hopper passes and are driving, you don't have to pay to park at the second park either. I am not sure about BB or TL, we haven't gone there yet, but I am assuming that you will have to pay for parking there as well.

Of course, if you are staying onsite, parking is free at the parks.

For BB and TL, parking is free for all.

You get a parking pass at check in that you have to stick in your window. Keep that in your dash and the attendent should wave you through....you also could show them your KTTW key and they should still let you through. As for which is faster, it is always faster to use your car, but it is more convient for Disney to drive you.

It is generally easier to use Disney transportation for MK, as when you drive, you must park at the Ticket/Transportation Center, then take either the monorail or the boat over to the MK. If you take a Disney bus from your resort, you are let off by the entrance to the MK.

Thanks for the info. I think maybe we will drive 1 day to MK, as it has been many, many years since I have ridden the boat. I used to get so excited when we would take the boat, knowing I would soon be in Mickeys house. I would really like my ds to experience all aspects of MK.
