What is the daily rate to park at the cruise terminal, and is the Radisson the only hotel near the port that offers free parking during the cruise as well as a shuttle?
TIA
Also, any ideas on how I can get my parents from MCO to the port, cheaper than DCL transfers?
Only ways I know to do it cheaper is to use a limo service (for a group of people since it is a flat rate) or to rent a car at Avis at the airport then drop it at the Radisson at Port Canaveral and catch the shuttle over.
I'm sure there are other ways, but I am unaware. Know anyone in Florida that could give them a ride?
Thanks everyone. We will be dricing down form Georgia, so it looks like the best option is to just pick them up at the airport ourselves. We have an Expedition, so passenger is NOT the problem, it is luggage room! LOL As well as just the hassle of dealing with the airport. Does anyone know about the hotel? Are the only ones that offer cruise parking?
The Radisson charges a higher room rate if you are leaving your car there during the cruise...check radisson.com for rates...you will see the special cruise parking package.
the shuttle from the radisson to the port is free.
Parking at the Radisson is free for anyone who stays there. You DO NOT have to book the cruise package to leave your car there. I have phoned the Radisson several times on this as we are staying there in less than 2 weeks. If you book the cheapest rate you can find, you still can park for free. Just wanted to make sure everyone knows that!!
We just booked for $85 for a Friday night (Halloween - Oct 31) before our Nov 1 cruise. I have seen a few posts for $79 for AAA... Anyone get a better rate?
The "bug" topic has come up numerous times on this board. It seems that a few people insist that if you park your car in the DCL lot, or anywhere in Florida, that ants will "coat" the inside of the vehicle.
After living in Florida for 17 years, I can say that I have never seen my own or anyone elses car invaded with ants or any other bugs. And this includes three extended stays in the DCL lot.

You will be getting on after we get off! LOL Was the above rate for a standard room? I need a king suite, the price I get online is $129 has anyone seen or gotten a cheaper rate for the king suite?
