Parking Placard

Was Just Wondering if you wonderful folk will be able to help me and point me in the right direction. I am visiting Disney beach club this September. I am looking to pick up a visitor disabled parking placard, and have been told I will need to visit a local tax office to show passport and my disability badge. Would any one know of a office(address and phone number would be super} I can visit on my way to the hotel. Any assistance will be much appreciated.

Does your parking badge from home have the blue and white international symbol for disabled? If so, I think it’s acceptable as reciprocal.

Yes it does carry the symbol, but just have had problems before . I used to be able to do it by email and have badge sent.

There is also a link in there to locations where you can do in person. You need to check with location, some require appointments.

It is literally beyond me why Florida would choose to make a disabled person with a badge boasting the international disability symbol get another here. And I bet charge something for the monumental inconvenience of determining where one must do that. Plus, it more than likely must be by weekday-only appointment.

Florida recognizes license plates and parking permits displaying the international symbol of accessibility that has been issued by any state or foreign country.
