Parking Lot opening time at AK

We are staying off property and read over the last few weeks on the boards that the parking lot to AK opens around 8:30- not early like at other parks...has this been the norm over the last few weeks? Thanks for the input.

I would suggest you post this question on the Transportation Board some of the experts there might be able to answer your question.I was going to move it for you,then I thought on the two boards someone could help you for sure.

In speaking with Disney, we've heard it's 7:45 am every day, including Extra Magic Hour. I believe that most, if not all, of the parking lot issues at the AK have come from guests getting to the parking area before 7:45 am on an EMH day. If that's not correct, let me know the date and we'll get back to Disney.
