parking garage

we are driving to universal and were wondering when the parking garage opened in the morning because we wanted to get there early

i remember the walk from the parking to entrance was a long on. (not to hijack your thread) but if anyone knows how long to allow to park and walk to entrance of ioa that would be helpful.

When I go, I get there around 8:15-8:30 and I'm at the gate to enter by 9 (note I buy my tickets ahead of time so I don't have to wait in line in the ticket booth). I would imagine it's open by 8.
