Parking for two cars at a cabin?

Trying to find a rental car for our trip in a couple weeks. Mini-vans are outrageously priced. I can get 4+ economy cars for the price of a van. We have more than enough drivers in our party so was thinking about getting two cars. Does Disney allow you to park more than one car at the resort? Is there space at the cabin for two cars?

What about going to the parks? Would we have to pay for parking for the 2nd car?

Parking is supposed to be for 1 car per cabin, extra cars should be parked in the lot at Outpost. When you check in ask for 2 parking passes, that will cover park parking, as well as leaving the extra car at Outpost.
That said, the one car per cabin rule is loosely enforced, if you can fit both cars in your drive without encroaching on the road or others space you would probably be left alone.

We were given 3 parking passes (which allowed us to park free at FW and at the parks) - one pass for each registered adult. I am not sure if that's a hard and fast rule or if it's at the CM's discretion, but I don't think they'd give you any trouble about multiple parking passes.
I would not bank on being able to park more than one car right in front of the cabin. I've seen people do it, but we saw someone getting towed this past December for partially blocking the loop. There should be plenty of parking in the FW lot, though.

I can't believe the minivan rental prices down there. We would have to have a van to hold all 3 car seats for our kids - but there's no way I'd pay almost as much for a vehicle as I do for a cabin! We take ME.

This past weekend we had a 08 Taurus and an 04 Neon at the same site. We had not problems with it. Both cars just had to park slightly off the side of the spot but cast members didn't say a thing.

Disney says only 1 vehicle. Apparently they only make a fuss if you park on their grass,:confused3

BUT my problem is, the roads at the Fort are VERY small/tight/narrow,,(however you want to say it),,and I have at times found it very difficult to get around a site that have more than 1 vehicle, because they generally STICK OUT IN THE ROAD AND MAKE IT DIFFICULT TO GET AROUND THEM !!

Which I assume is the reason for the 1 vehicle per site rule!
Other wise I believe they would state that you may have as many vehicles per site as you desire.

I was told only one of our cars can be parked at cabin, the other one has to be in over flow parking lot.

Funny.. I was thinking about soing the same thing because the mini-vans are so expenseive for our late August trip to the cabins. I think parking one at the cabin will work for us. Worth it to save several hundred dollars.
