Parking for guests?

If relatives come to visit us and spend the day with us at Boardwalk Villas, where could they park? I know that at resorts you could normally park for 3 hours to shop, dine, etc., but what if we have a couple of people coming to spend the day with us in our villa? Is there a common area to park at the Boardwalk since it has so much entertainment anyway? Could they park there for more than 3 hours? And do I have to be in the car with them in order for them to park there as my guest?

I've never had a problem asking the desk to print out another parking pass for a visiting guest, and they did not have a problem parking at BWV (Although since they were staying at a Value, they might be questioned a little less)
Boardwalk does have a guest parking area (to support their entertainment/restaurants)I do not think BWV parking is too strict about a 3 hour window as there always seems to be more parking availability after EPCOT closes

We have had visitors afew times at the BWV and when they are at the guard post they have just mentioned they are there to visit us. During busier times the guard will ask them for our name and have checked on their quest list.Our guests sometimes stay all day or 4/5 hrs with no problems Parking is in the main lot as the time of day they arrive there are spots available
