we have priority seating for chef mickey in June. After breakfast will there be any problems if we leave our car at Contemporary and ride the monorail over to the Magic Kingdom for a couple of hours?

I know parking at hotels for priority seating is not a problem, but I was not sure about limitations on parking. We just wanted to take some pictures around the park.

Also, any tips for parking at contemporary?

thanks for the help!

There actually is a limit on the amount of time you can park as Disney doesn't want people parking at the monorail resorts for Magic Kingdom access. The limit is typically 3 hours.

The security gate will give you a 3 hour parking pass, parking at the hotel & using the monorail is for guest of the hotel.

The best thing to do is park in Magic Kingdom parking and take the monorail over to the resort. Then when you are done you can head off to the park.

That was our original plan too but Disney will only allow you to park in their resort parking areas for up to 3 hours (unless its the resort you re staying in of course;) ).

This does make sense though especially for resorts near mk as if guests were allowed to do this the resort car parks would be constantly over crowded. Actual guests staying there would nt even be able to get a space.

Valet park and you won't have to worry about time limits(unless attendant tells you otherwise). Charge is 10 dollars a day. If you have the DDE card,or a handicapped sticker for your car, valet parking is free(plus tip,of course).

You will see signage at most resorts that will tell you that parking is not provided for park access.
You would be best served by either paying to valet park or just parking at the TTC and monorailing to CM's then walking to MK after your meal.
