parking fees

Hi! My DH and i made our first trip to WDW last May and had a blast. We said we were going to come back in a few years. Well my brother is moving to Orlando for a year in Aug and we have decided that our whole family is going to visit. We are going rent a house. My parents are going to rent a house nearby and we were planning on staying with then to save cost. Anyways i was wondering how much does it cost to park on property, is the pass good all day, do they have a weekly parking pass?
Thanks so much.
P.S- Is there anyway to find out what we have left on our passes before we buy new ones?

They can check your passes at the ticket window at the entrance to the parks.

Parking at the 4 major parks is $8 per day (if you park hop, save your receipt and show it at the next lot in the same day). Parking at DD and the water parks is free. You can check the amount left on your tickets at any Guest Relations on WDW property, including DD.

Since your brother will be living in Florida, he can get a FL resident Annual Pass and it includes free parking for one car! (The FL Resident Seasonal Pass has black-out dates and does NOT include parking.)
