parking fee at hotels

We are planning to stay onsite at one of the hotels...how much is parking and what is the tax? is it 12.5% or the 6% tax? Thanks for any info...this is our first trip to universal...

At RPR last July it was $15 a night, cannot remember what the tax was for sure, but i think it was the 6%

Anyone ever gotten out of paying the parking fee? I remember some did a few years ago, but I haven't heard of that lately.

Last July was the first time i paid, and managed to get it at 50% of the rate, so $7.50 a night
