Hi All, Quick question . I know Disneyworld has dissolved the resort parking fees , but how about DLR ?
We have a trip planned for January/February 2024 , and not sure if they charge parking fees at DLH, or GCH ? Trying to decide if we will be renting a car or not, and parking fees may be a deciding factor.
Not sure if we will be staying at DLH or GCH yet since the booking windows have still not opened up ! We have stayed at VGC twice now on our DVC points , so we havent had to worry about parking fees . This upcoming trip will not be on DVC points , so resort parking fees have popped into my mind .
Thanks !

Hotel parking fees:
  • Self-parking: $35 (plus tax) per night per vehicle
  • Valet parking: $65 (plus tax) per night per vehicle
  • Oversized vehicle parking: $40 (plus tax) per night per vehicle

Thank you !!!
Looks like its going to be close to $300. for a week including taxes :headache:. Maybe its not worth it to rent a car this time around , might have to use a car service instead ! Have used Lanskys in the past with great results .....

I think it is best to use Lanskys and maybe forget the car! Lanskys can stop at the store on the way too!

Yes, I think Lanskys may be our go to this trip. I dont really enjoy driving in LA traffic anyway, plus the parking fee will pay for most of the Lansky trip . Not to mention , rental cars out of LAX are $$$ lately .
We dont really need a car anyway, just prefer to stay "in the bubble" while at DLR . If we do need any "grocery" type of items , Walgreens on the corner of Katella and Harbor is always well stocked and has most everything we have needed. Its not a bad walk either .

Also know that resort parking fees are per night, not per day...so for example if you are staying only one night you technically get two full days if parking...check in day, the overnight, and checkout day as you can check in early with your car and leave it there after check out time that you need to be clear of the room.

When I travel I am almost always in the rent a car camp but honestly at Disneyland unless you are also touring LA area there is little to no need for a car at the resort with availability of Uber for what few times you really need a car.
