Parking Cost

Does anyone know approx. how much it cost to park your car at the different Disney theme parks? Thanks.

It's free if you are staying at a WDW resort or if you are an AP holder. Otherwise it is $11 per day. If you park hop you just keep your receipt for the next park, you won't pay twice in the same day.

Great, thanks for the info. Wife and I trying to plan a trip for the second week in Dec. and trying to determine if staying offsite or on site is better. Have stayed on site twice, but that was before little ones. So much information to sift through. Thanks again.

You are very welcome! Glad I can help. If you don't mind my 2 cents I would love to just offer you my opinion! I have been taking our kids to WDW since they were 8 months old. Now they are 10 and almost 5. We love staying on site. It is just so convenient with the kids. I love using Disney transportation to/from the parks. I love being able to go back to the resort mid day if we choose to. There is nothing like being immersed in the magic the minute you check into your resort! We are also DVC members so my opinion may be bias!

Thanks again. Sounds you have made many a trip to Disney. I am leaning towards the onsite stay. We trying to save money where we can, but in the long run it seems the little extra we save by staying offsite does not out weigh the convenience of an onsite stay. The kids will be 7 and 4 at travel time. Having to travel from Maine in itself is enough of a haul. The kids are only little once and they are deffinalty worth it.

I have searched the web and the DIS pages for money saving tips. Would you have any reccomendations on where I might look for additional information? We are planning on the week of 12/7/08 and have looked at the Value Resorts for the 7 day/6 night stay. As always, any suggestions are welcomed. Thanks.
