Parking charge increase?

Hi all!

Just noticed from the scrolling newsticker above - parking charges are up by $1 to $10.... anyone know what date this takes effect?

The U.S. Six Flags theme parks charge $15/day to park, $25 for the "preferred" parking spaces. Talk about a rip-off!!

My dh and I were just discussing the parking at WDW...he was wondering why people try to park at the resorts, for free, rather than park at the actual parks. I told him that they didn't want to pay the fee of around $8-9. He was aghast, yes..aghast. He is so used to paying over $15 to park anywhere we go that he thought Disney's fee's were next to nothing!!! Guess it's all relative. That parking fee for Six Flags??? That's the main reason we don't make the hour long drive to Six Flags.
