Parking at the resorts

My family is deciding between on or off-site lodging for a trip in August. We're going to go to Universal for a couple days, so we're leaning towards staying off-site. What will parking cost me? Is it every day? What if I transfer between parks? What if we leave the park and come back later that day?

Also had this thought. Part of the group may leave early and then one of us would return to get the rest of the group later in the day. Could we pick up the rest of the group at one of the nearby hotels instead of in front of the park. For instance, we're at Magic Kingdom, some leave in the afternoon, but some stay till close. Can our group that stays be picked up by our car at say the Poly. instead of fighting the parking lot at MK?

Parking is either $15 or $16. Yes you can leave and get back in with paying once as long as you have the parking ticket in your window or show it to them. It's also good at all the other parks on the same day. Yes, you can pick them up at the Poly if you wish.

Your "for instance" is not really a solution for the problem you present.

1- The guests drop-off/pick-up for MK is between TTC tram loading and the Poly.
2- You must drive to the MK parking lot entrance
and drive through the MK parking lot toll plaza
in order to get to the guest drop-off/pick-up area and/or the Poly (or the Contemporary.)
(But, you won't have to pay anything to drop-off or pick-up guests, or head to the resort parking lots.)
