Parking at the Port?? $$

Can someone tell me what the cost is to park at the port? I know I've seen it mentioned here on the boards but I can't find it now.

I booked our flights today, so we will be arriving Friday late morning and our return flight is Sunday around noon. So I have pretty much all day/night Friday and when we return all day/night Saturday to kill. I'd like to book a room at the Beach Club (using a friend's DVC points). So then I'd need a rental car (which I can get for free using AmEx rewards!)

I'd just like to know if this little plan of mine would work...it all depends on the cost to park at the port. Otherwise I may skip the plan of staying at the Beach Club.

Our travel agent told us it is $12 a day to park at Port. We will be there Feb.26-29.

DCL's website says $10.00 per day, subject to change.

I think I'm gonna reply to myself.

Probably the better way to go (??) is to rent a car Friday, return it at the rental office near the port, then rent another when we get in Saturday, returning it to the airport on Sunday. I'll have to check the prices.

Anyone have a preference for rental car companies as far as price, convenience to the port?

At the end of September 2003, the price was $10.00 per day. Don't know if the price went up.

As far as rental car companies (this is what we do), there are a handful. We use Avis. They are on the Airport grounds (easy and fast) and are close to the port with free shuttle to and from the port. There are others that provide similar services.
