parking at the Disneyland Hotel

My SIL and her family are going to Disneyland in July. They are staying at the Embassy Suites. They have a reservation for breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel one morning at 8:00 (I think). They are going to drive to the hotel for breakfast and valet park the car. Can they leave the car there while they go to Disneyland or is there a time limit for parking? Thanks!

Take the voucher you get, a little parking stub with holes punched in it to the restaurant. They will validated the parking for you. They validated my parking when we did Hook's Pointe.

I believe you can valet park if you are eating a meal there--but technically you are not supposed to valet and then park for several hours and go to the parks. My recollection is that they allow about three hours. Beyond that you might face a situation where they impose parking charges. (And if they charge you the valet fee for "parking" it's something like $17 plus an hourly charge.) So, better to eat the meal and move the car to the normal parking spot in the structure or whatever to go to the parks.

When you dine at Goofy's Kitchen you get free valet parking at the Disneyland Hotel parking lot, or you can park in the self-service parking. When you get your ticket validated it is worth 5 hours of free parking. After that, you will be charged $2 per 20 minutes.

I've done this before, and after our meal, had to move our car to the Mickey & Friends parking lot because we were going to stay longer and I didn't want to pay unecessarily for parking.

If you plan on staying more than five hours I recommend just parking at the Mickey & Friends parking lot & walking to the hotel. This will save you time in the long run, and you can easily take the tram from the parks to the parking structure after your visit to the parks.
