If you have a WDW annual pass do you get parking privileges at the Swan/Dolphin as well?
The Swan is further from the Yacht Club. The Dolphin is closer to the Yacht Club. If you get to the drive to enter the miniature golf course, you just missed the Swan entrance. We are planning a meal at Garden Grove in the Swan during our upcoming trip. We are staying at AKL. Do we still pay the parking fee for the Swan? Do they have handicapped parking? Do they have valet parking?
I am reading that they validate if you eat there. Does that mean that you do not pre-pay to park and then just show a Garden Grove validated ticket to avoid the parking fee? I just want to make sure all our bases are covered so we know what we are doing.
Also where is the driveway into the Swan? Is it on the same loop where you turn by the mini golf and eventually hit YC and BC? It seems to me the Dolphin is before those two but is Swan there too?
TIA!
your SIL will not necessarily be permitted to park at BC unless she is staying there. (I'm not sure what you mean by home resort. Even if you own DVC points there that does not mean you are permitted to park there.)Okay, I called the Swan directly (407-934-4000) since I still could not find answers. I spoke with 1 CM who did leave briefly to consult someone else but according to her, the parking fee to self park is $20.00, to valet park it is $28 plus tip. There is no monetary break for handicapped like at the deluxe Disney Resorts.
They will only validate your parking ticket if you dine at one of their signature restaurants and then you ask the server. The character meal at Garden Grove is not considered signature.
I guess DD and I will use a boat from DHS and DH and DSIL will park at our home resort, BC, and take the boat to join us. It does seem silly to charge you to park when you are using an ADR to dine there.

If he valet parks he shouldn't have an issue but I know that BC is very strict on who they allow to use the parking facilities. You generally have to have a reservation at one of their restaurants to be able to park at the resort. It is my hubby and my son-in-law and they will probably send the afternoon over at BC having a few drinks at one of the bars or get some carry out ice cream from Beaches and Cream. It is our home resort which means we own our points there and both hubby and I and DSIL are DVC members. It also means we are very comfortable there and know our way around the resort. Hubby has his favorite watering holes and sitting areas. Hubby usually needs his scooter and he valet parks.
there has been a crack down on people parking at epcot and mk resorts and they have become strict in recent weeks. Valet may work but I would have a backup plan.It is my hubby and my son-in-law and they will probably send the afternoon over at BC having a few drinks at one of the bars or get some carry out ice cream from Beaches and Cream. In fact we have taken friends over to just show them around and have always been allowed. It is not like we are parking there for very long.
The girls: my daughter, granddaughters, and I are spending the day at DHS but we are meeting the guys for dinner at the Swan and then returning to DHS.
