parking at resorts

I will be visiting WDW in June and will have a vehicle and staying at the Port Orleans. I have advance reservations for Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary at 7 a.m. and would like to know if I am allowed to stay parked there all day while touring one of the parks. Disney busses probably won't run early enough to get me to the Contemporary that early, so I will need to drive, and would prefer to not have to move my car to visit the MK.

I think the buses run early enough but you can park there but only for eating.

No- we just tried to do that. They will only let you park there for 3 hours.

No you can only park there for 3 hours. But you will park free at all parks so take your car for your convenience!

P.S. Don't plan on the busses getting you there early enough for breakfast. My sister and her family missed breakfast at Crystal Palace because no busses came even after they were told they would be there.

making a 7am ADR by bus would be difficult. There are however buses at 7am that are Character Breakfast Buses, that can take you direct to Chef Mickey, just ask the bus driver.

You surely can can a way by using the buses...but play it safe and ask when you check in. There may be a AM EMH at a park that you may need to use as a transfer or something, but I am sure you can manage!!!

That totally depends on you! For us, we love the ease of having Disney do for us!!! We don't like having to worry about finding a parking spot, then getting to the park, fighting traffic on the way back, parking once were back to the hotel etc. When we get to Disney we park it and forget it! Others will not take Disney transportation simply becasue of the crowds and lines. You just need to look at what is important to you and your family.

We never move our car once we get to disney unless we are going to sea world or universal. We stop and get groceries on the way in, and the rest of the time is disney time!!!
