Just have your placard out if you're not driving a car with handicapped plates, and ask the guards politely.

It may have been because it was still the holidays or the new rules, but we were meeting family for dinner at the GF and we didn't have my hubbie's placard out (we don't drive with it hanging). We had to show it to the guard along with ID to prove we really were using valet like we asked, and even then we had to give the name of the reservation, even though it wasn't under our name.

The valet CMs had no issues.

Ok we won't have reservations My mom will just want one last visit to akl. I'll pay if necessary of course but we have two cars with her and my dav. So I need to plan a wee bit more

1) You should have mentioned it.
2) Maybe the valet did not see the tag.

My first deluxe stay I was charged one day but as soon as I brought it to their attention they reversed it. Seems the guy who parked it was not the guy who logged it so he just didn't know to waive the charge.

Of course this was 7 years ago and I haven't been back with a placard since so it could have changed.

my friend has tag and that was why we did not have to pay when the CM saw the tag they just say if there is a spot open park there my friend started to sing it is good to be a crippled... and all in the van was laughing so hard a few CM asked us what was so funny all we could get out was its an inside joke. sorry you had to pay just another why disney is inconsistent
