First off I'd like to apologize because I'm sure this has been asked at least 234573489 times, but the search feature keeps freezing up on me.

Is parking at resorts you aren't staying at in order to eat at their restaurants ok? Do you have to have an ADR to do this? We'd like to eat at Wilderness Lodge, Chef Mickeys, Poly and Beaches and Cream.

Thanks so much for any help!

Hi

You'll be fine. I was there last month and simply told security I was there for dinner and it was fine.

We did 3 times last week. You just pull up, they'll ask you why you're there. Just tell them dinner and where (which restaurant) and they'll look at a picture I.D. Probably chat you up a bit about where you're from.

When Animal Kingdom Lodge first opened, a reservation was necessary to get past the guards (terrorists, it seems, never bother to make a dining reservation). That requirement has been lifted. Just tell them which restaurant you're going to -- have your ID out, because terrorists never forge IDs -- and you're on your way.

You can park at any resort whether you're dining there or not. They may ask for an ID, and they may give you a 3-hour parking permit. But all of the resorts are open to the public.

An if you have an annual pass and purchase a Tables in Wonderland pass, the valet parking is free as well (don't forget to tip). Definitely worth the investment (even at the now $75 per year price).
